Yoga has been a part of Paulette’s daily life and inspiration since 1999. Paulette not only works as a yoga instructor, but is the business developer for Truth N Health, LLC. ”In 2002, because of the connected and peaceful feeling I felt after each practice, I thought it was selfish to not share this with others. I realized the more I practiced and learned, yoga was constantly opening me in ways beyond just new flexibility and strength within my body. So, I set out to make it part of my life’s work to teach others the beauty and wonder that a living yoga practice has brought me. I received my yoga training from teachers Anne Phyfe Palmer and Melina Meza at 8 Limbs Yoga Studio in Seattle in 2002. I have continued to study with some of the top yoga teachers in the US, including Sharon Gannon and David Life, Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Ana Forest, and Seane Corne. I am also one of the founders of Home Yoga Studio on lower Queen Anne in Seattle, which still exists today.”
“My belief is that it doesn’t matter how far you can stretch or what level you get to as a student, as long as you can breathe you can do yoga. I believe if you’re aligned properly and can still smile, you’ll be able to tap into your body-mind wisdom and reach even greater strength and flexibility – physically, emotionally and mentally. It is my hope and aspiration to share the experiences and benefits of my own living yoga practice with as many people as I can. My goal has always been to help people open up to a greater joy and peace that comes from within and an ease of living within their own bodies comfortably. My teachings through various traditional and non-traditional methods, are designed to assist students to utilize their body as a means for strengthening concentration, self-awareness, and meditation, as well as to purify and energize the mind with the focus not only on keeping the body healthy and flexible, but on opening the mind to long-term relaxation and well-being, to help people begin to connect to an authenticity deep within, find their inner creativity and flow, and learn to live their yoga not just on the mat but in all aspects of life. I look forward to teaching you as well as learning from you. Namaste.”

Monique has always been an artist. She started creating as early as she could remember and ended up with a Bachelors of Art in fine arts. Sometime during her studies, she found another love; yoga. Monique has been practicing for 8 years and has no intention of stopping. She received her 200 RYT in 2011 through True Flow Yoga in Newport Beach, learning how to guide others through their yoga journey–mostly a vinyasa style practice. It has helped her not only as a person but as a mother and she wishes to continue sharing this with others with her current Ayruvedic Studies. Monique is also a yoga instructor for toddlers and is the creative designer and marketing director for Truth N Health, LLC. Other than art and yoga, Monique is a stay-at-home mommy of a 3 year old boy which she believes is the best job in the world. “I have had a deep interest in holistic healing through both Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine as well as whole food nutrition and have researched these subjects on my own for the past 5 years. I have a passion for healthy food and use this towards my families well-being.”
